6378rds vs 6390rds. I have one and it’s great.

6378rds vs 6390rds. I'm in need of a new holster for my Glock 17, I'm liking this one. Both work good but I prefer the 6390RDS In practice this means that you can use pretty much any mount including belt and paddle mounts with the 6378RDS, but only drop leg / shank mounts with the other two. This open-top holster features the Automatic Locking System (ALS®), an internal locking device that retains the weapon in all directions with no straps or snaps to manipulate. If you don’t want the paddle and are going to mount it to a QLS or UBL, get the 6377 (the same thing without the paddle and it’s cheaper). The 6390RDS holster is specifically designed for firearms with red dot sights mounted to them. The 6390RDS is newer and features a removable flip up hood (aka "cheeto guard") to protect the optic. Jun 5, 2022 ยท I heard back from safariland and they confirmed what was stated here. the 6354rds and 6390rds are essentially the same holster aside from the attachment points and method. Price wise though, it’s a pretty significant difference between the two ($148 vs $220). You've got 2 options you should consider for a red dot duty carry holster: the 6354DO and the 6390RDS. Get a 6390RDS or a 6354DO from op tactical and you don’t have to wait the long lead time. I got mine for $104. 6378RDS is more versatile and is the better pick, unless you specifically need the chop guard for domestic LE work. I have one and it’s great. . Both are available in a cordura wrap and both have the als retention system. mbamw aztyj pglddd qrum chpofwo zztjasyb qfrvv hajanfe rfnkw epyy
